Pilot Darcy

This electronic/acoustic aviator is no stranger to stage or studio with a couple of decades as a musician under her flying goggles. The Sydney-sider has toured Australia and also gigged in France and Asia. You can hear the hot sun from down under filter through her songs.

Composing in a number of genres, mostly electronic, Pilot Darcy has chosen a path of collaboration after many years of touring solo. She is currently collaborating with Melbourne’s house singer/recording artist “Nikki Teeuw” (see below) with their new club track “Killer” released on Amsterdam label 7 Stars. The Pilot has remixed a dirty electro version of “The Tease” by Sydney’s blues/roots trio Two Girls Will to be released later this year. And expect some dubstep action with some collaboration tracks with Sydney’s infamous “Blog Wars” DJ’s in the pipeline.

“Probably the best act of the evening, the Pilot gave a flying lesson to the less experienced acts, and had the whole room shaking various body parts like so many polaroid pictures. If dance fever was a real disease, that whole venue would still be under quarantine.”Lipmag

Booked by YES MA’AM;

Faye Blais (Canada)

Award winning Canadian folk singer “Faye Blais” has toured internationally including the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand. She is endorsed by Cole Clarke guitars and has built up a following in Australia with summer tours for the past five years. Faye has toured with Rosie Burgess Trio, Owl Eyes and Gossling to name a few. She is a hit at festivals internationally and has played Nannup, Port Fairy Folk Festival and Yackandandah and more is Oz.

The minute she graces the stage Faye Blais has all eyes on her. Admittedly Blais is incredibly beautiful, but perhaps it is her equally vibrant personality that is contagious. And then she starts to sing! Her voice is like a songbird reflecting the light from a Canadian lake in the summer. Her lyrics contain the thoughtfulness and pondering from an old soul that still yearns to learn.

She has been described as:

“Young, edgy, and powerfully present, Faye Blais is continuing the thread started by Joni, picked up by Ani and fashioned by Feist.” – Eaglewood Folk Festival, Canada
